Promising tears.

Promising tears.

Why punish your tears
when wounds are yet to heal,
when life is yet to feel,
it's purpose to survive.

With a bleeding heart,
you search for your savior,
with a prayer of faith,
holding your hand,
promising you a wish,
to love again.

Why punish your tears,
while your heart still bleeds,
with agony of its stolen beats.
Which once made you feel loved,
which once made you feel alive.

A thought in you,
yet holds your grief,
Giving you a belief ,
a lie, by a broken mind.

Let them free,
your injured soul.
Let it breathe,
and fill you with comfort;
that once death offered,
but hope came up with a promise,
kept from you,
by your blinding belief.

Open you eyes,
and see yourself,
outlive
your beautiful dreams.
